Finally, after months of interrupted construction, Vroni's wedding dress is ready to send to her in Australia. In the end I just made the basic dress - the trimming, halter neck and matching headpiece will be made and added over on her end.

The dress is made from Vogue pattern #8288, with stretch lace over thick cream satin, with a full nylon lining. The bodice is reinforced with interfacing, and boning down the seams. There is an invisible zip in the back, which proved tricky to insert due to the lace overlay, but I was happy with the result.

Now just to wait on pictures of the bride herself wearing the dress at her wedding in July!
