This dress was made from Vintage Vogue pattern 1011, an original design from 1940. Another great pattern that taught me some new techniques and also resulted in a pretty sweet looking and well fitting dress! I'm planning on soon making a reproduction of Shosanna's red dress from the movie premiere scene of Inglourious Basterds, and as it fits like a glove and has the same general shape I will definitely be using this pattern as a guide.
